How to Create Hit counters in C# asp.net for my website

Hi anybody know to create hit counter in c# asp.net for website.
Setting hitcounters at global.asax will reset iis and reset application counter ,so anybody implemented using database,or in text file?pl post replies.

Use a text file to store the counter,use gloabal.asax application_start,and session start to get the variables to get the count update the count.Need code mail me or post reply.Thank you.Happy codings.
